We took the Hill Country Conservancy‘s EPIC (Emerging Professionals in Conservation) members on a Moonlight Bat Float last Wednesday – August 22nd.
Great trip with wonderful people. EPIC members are those who are proactive about conserving land around Texas and especially Central Texas.
Furthermore, they are fundraising to buy land to protect from development while also socializing with fellow conservationists. With popsicles and ice cream sandwiches, music with Bill Oliver, and bats (they did finally emerge – very late though), we all had a wonderful time. Although I don’t have pictures from this year’s float, I do from last year’s. Enjoy!
